most itineraries it will NOT be necessary
to overnight in Buenos Aires or Bariloche,
Argentina unless you so desire. The same
applies traveling through Chile in Santiago,
and Punta Arenas. When flying through Puerto
Montt to Futaleufu however it is essential
that you arrive on Friday night in Puerto

web page contains our list of suggested
hotels and lodges in Chile & Argentina.
These can be directly booked over the internet.
See: Hotels
& Lodging Options
- Trips
to Torres del Paine & Los Glaciares
National Parks require internationally recognized
medical insurance. We strongly recommend
it for all trips. Trip cancellation insurance
is also an option you may wish to cothrtto
llip investment. Both types of insurance
can be purchased directly & inexpensively
over the Expediciones Chile website. See:
Travel
& Health Insurance
- Keep in mind that deviations
from the Saturday to Saturday can be done
but may require may require a private shuttle
for your group to arrive in Futaleufu that
may involve additional cost. This can also
happen if you arrive late to Punta Arenas
for trips in Torres del Paine National Park.
If you are flying through Puerto Montt to
Futaleufu you must spend friday night in
Puerto Montt to catch the once weekly flight
on Saturday to Futaleufu.
