When calling our travel agents, notify them of your travels with us. This will help ensure all flights meet our unique time constraints. Simply advise them of the arrival and departure dates and cities. The agents work free of charge and are travel consolidators, which means they often have the best fares - even better than what can be found on the Internet. Most importantly they know our trips and routes and available to call if changes need to be made. They can also make hotel reservations and any travel arrangements in Chile, Argentina, Peru, Brazil or Ecuador.
Travel From Any Region:
North American Travelers
We recommend going through the gateway cities from North America that offer flights into Buenos Aires and Santiago that arrive early enough Saturday morning to accommodate the recommended Fast Track Routes. Even if departing from a city other than those listed, it is best to make a connection through the suggested cities to arrive as early as possible. The three most highly recommended gateway cities in the States are: Miami, Fl; Houston, TX; Atlanta, GA. For example: If you live in New York it would be tempting to buy a direct flight to Buenos Aires or Santiago. However, those flights often arrive mid day or later, making it difficult to arrive pick up point in one day. Leave a little earlier, on a flight with the same airline and same price, from New York to Miami and land in Beunos Aires or Santiago early in the morning. This allows for a smooth entry on day one.
European Travelers
There are gateway cities in almost every country of Europe, but the ones that offer the earliest arrival are direct flights from Paris, London or Madrid. European travelers should be cautious of time zone changes and allow enough time to acclimate before partaking in strenuous physical activity. We still recommend pushing on to the trip pick up point once in South America where it will be possible to rest the night before. If susceptible to jet lag, plan an extra day before arriving at the pick up point to relax before beginning the adventure. Air France flights from Paris, Aerolineas Argentina from Madrid, and British Airway flights from London, all connect with Aerolineas Argentina and arrive early enough to connect to Bariloche and connect by bus to Esquel to arrive in time for a casual dinner in Trevelin.
Brazilian Travelers
Brazilian travelers will have to spend a night in Buenos Aires or Bariloche before continuing south to the trip pick up point in Esquel. There are also direct flights from Sao Paulo to Bariloche twice a week but the flights arrive late at night and will also require a one night stay in Bariloche.
Australian, New Zealander, Asian Travelers
For all travelers coming east from across the Pacific major jet lag is a possibility. However, we recommend pushing on to the trip pick up point once in South America where it will be possible to rest the night before. Then, plan an extra day at the destination to adapt and unwind. Australian, New Zealander and Asian Travelers should also be cautious of time zone changes and allow enough time to acclimate before partaking in strenuous physical activity. If time allows, we recommend arriving into Santiago on Friday morning and allowing for a day of rest before beginning the adventure.
Russian Travelers
For fast track entries, Russian travelers have traditionally come in via Europe to Buenos Aires. Follow the recommendation for the European travelers. Russian travelers should also be cautious of time zone changes and allow enough time to acclimate before partaking in strenuous physical activity.

South American Domestic Airlines:
For those who have not flown to Chile before, Lan Chile is a carrier we strongly endorse. They are the national carrier of Chile with a first class reputation and operation. American Airlines is another carrier we highly recommend. They both arrive early enough in Santiago or Buenos Aires to make the necessary connection required.
